The 2024 MLS season is nearing its final stretch, 13 sites published rankings for the double-game week 27 (games played Sept. 18 and the following weekend), rankings reflect results from both games even though some analytic sites updated after mid-week games.
Tom Bogert’s rankings are now on the drop notice list with no updates since week 18, and are joined by Broadway Sports who have now missed 4 updates.
A reminder of what Power Rankings should be (not that every site does, of course):
"If two teams played tomorrow, given their current injury concerns, form, and other considerations, who is likely to win on a neutral field? All things being equal, who is the best team going forward, based on what we know now?"
