Wasatch Soccer Sentinel

Lucas started following RSL shortly after moving to Salt Lake City in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the team. He studied Theology and History and holds a bachelor’s degree from Multnomah University. Lucas and his wife, Kacee, live just outside of downtown Salt Lake City with their dog and two cats. He is also a Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

Matt Montgomery was the managing editor of RSL Soapbox from 2012 until its closure in 2023, at which point he, along with the staff of RSL Soapbox, founded Wasatch Soccer Sentinel. He can be heard on the Real Salt Lake-focused podcast Off the Crossbar. Matt can be found playing board games (and writing about them in his newsletter, [Don't Eat the Meeples](https://donteatthemeeples.substack.com), reading science fiction (which you can hear on the podcast [Vintage Sci-Fi Shorts](https://anchor.fm/vintage-sci-fi-shorts)), eating craft chocolate, and watching Star Trek.

As a long-suffering RSL fan, Kyle first became involved with RSL Soapbox years ago as an in-game photographer. Since then, he’s primarily contributed as a host and driver of lengthy social hour segments on Off The Crossbar. Outside of RSL, Kyle spends his free time hiking in the Utah mountains, watching movies and prestige TV, eating Thai food, and taking way too many photos.

Being born and raised in Utah, Trevor has been a fan of RSL and Utah Royals since their inception. Trevor grew up playing and then later refereeing soccer, but these days mostly just talks about it on Off The Crossbar, being involved with the podcast and RSL Soapbox since 2014. Outside of soccer, Trevor has too many hobbies/interests to list, but the first couple off the top of his head include hanging out with his kid Charlie, enjoying Utah's outdoors, playing poker, and watching competitive CS:GO.

Cindy began covering the NWSL & U.S. Women’s National Team in 2017 and had the honor of being a one of the editors at RSL Soapbox, managing Utah Royals FC content from afar from 2018-2020. She is again excited to return in her role as managing editor with Wasatch Soccer and join the Salt Lake City soccer community from afar when Utah Royals FC returns to the NWSL in 2024. She also covers the Kansas City Current with the Kansas City Soccer Journal. When not covering the NWSL, Cindy is usually playing soccer with her super competitive indoor team, coaching a U8 soccer team, spending time with her favorite people, and finding ways to go on adventures.
