Lineup News

  • The usual suspects are out — so no Tony Beltran, no Jordan Allen, no Alex Horwath, no Shawn Barry, no Demar Phillips. Allen, though, appears to be back in training, so that’s something encouraging.
  • Taylor Peay, Marcelo Silva, and Luis Silva are all listed as questionable.
  • Marcelo Silva could end up playing, though — a comment from Nick Rimando earlier in the week makes me think he’s closer than questionable.
  • Alfredo Ortuño is ... well, he didn’t travel. I know we’re all surprised at this point. With Luis Silva on the questionable list, we could end up seeing Corey Baird again.
  • Albert Rusnak hasn’t yet left for international duty, but he will miss the next two matches.

Lineup prediction

Rimando; Lennon, Glad, Besler, Ruiz; Beckerman, Kreilach; Plata, Rusnak, Savarino; Baird
