Wasatch Soccer SentinelIf there was one player that we all wanted to return to form, it was Joao Plata. Well, good news. He came through against Philadelphia.
Plata was the beset player on the field for either team putting in the work on both ends, making sprints back and forth when necessary. He was hungry to score, but he wasn’t taking poor shots just to take shots. He took good chances when they came and his build up with Savarino was a thing of beauty which ultimately led to the goal that got him off the schneid.
If Plata can maintain this type of play, RSL will have a very good chance of getting above the red line.
