The most straight-forward tweet was from RSL’s head scout and a former teammate of Morales’, Andy Williams. It’s not the most sentimental, but by “can’t replace those shoes,” it’s a clear acknowledgment of Morales’s quality.
Tweets started coming in from some former teammates — like Ian Paul Joy and Brian Dunseth. The amount of praise from those he influenced should give anyone pause for thought. It ranges from beginning to end, and the sort of messages sent are nearly too much to handle.
The only current RSL player as yet to acknowledge this publicly is Ricardo Velazco, who signed with the team late in the year.
