Team news
Sebastian Jaime is absent after suffering a minor fracture in his tibia. Expect him to be absent from training for only 7-10 days, though.
Joao Plata is still not yet training with the ball, but he's apparently progressing well. Expect him to see increasing minutes for Real Monarchs once he gets back into training as the club looks to ease him back into play.
Despite starting the season injured, both Pecka and John Stertzer should be available for the bench.
Demar Phillips was, at last reckoning, at "90 percent" fitness, so this could be a chance for him to start. But don't be surprised if he's on the bench, as Jeff Cassar will want to avoid a recurrence of that hamstring strain.
If Allen doesn't get the start, expect Luis Gil to play in his spot. Sebastian Saucedo would fit there naturally, but he's probably too young to start so soon.
