Marvin Baumgartner, a left-sided defender who last played for fourth tier Swiss side FC Wettswil-Bonstetten and a member of the El Salvador U-20 team, is joining Real Monarchs, the player tweeted on Monday.

Baumgartner, 22, was a member of the FC Zurich's youth teams, and he also played with Switzerland youth sides. Presumably, Baumgartner holds nationality in both countries.

Although Baumgartner's resume lacks the shine that maybe some others do, there is at least a highlight video of him available -- that's below.

Emery Welshman was recently confirmed to be joining Real Monarchs -- Real Salt Lake's third-division side looks to be coming into focus.

Darion Copeland, a defender who played at University of Alabama at Birmingham, will also join, according to a tweet from his former USL PDL club, Ocala Stampede.
